Emma Girald is truly a gifted artist and a remarkable entrepreneur. Her soaps are incredible not only visually but in scent, texture and skincare properties. Emma and a friend began making soap in 2018 with the intent to grow their company into a sustaining business. Once Covid hit, Emma's friend chose to move away so they closed their business together. Emma decided to take the opportunity to study the chemistry behind soap and soap making, along with ingredients and reevaluate the qualities of each recipes based on what she learned. Emma improved and perfected her recipes until she was once again ready to begin anew, with a new business name and new line of soaps in 2021. Emma placed her faith in God that he would give her the wisdom and knowledge she needed to run her own business. And that is how "Walk By Faith Artisan Soap" was born.
All of Emma's soaps are handmade using the Cold Process technique, which combines oils or fats with lye to create the perfect bar of soap. All Walk by Faith soaps are crafted with exceptionally natural, highest quality ingredients to nourish your skin and keep it at its ultimate best. The soap can be used on hands, face and body, but the various needs of your skin may require a different bar for each! If you're a gardener, you may want something with pumice or exfoliation for your hands to remove the dirt. The Fresh Avocado Soap (a Favorite scent of Emma's) with Poppy seeds is perfect to help remove grime and yet moisturize those dry, tired hands. It's rich avocado oil base is ideal for any type of dry skin. If your face is a bit oily or your body is requiring a "sweat intervention" you might want to try the Detox bar with Activated Charcoal to purify and Lemongrass Essential Oil.
For sensitive skin, Emma recommends the Colloidal Oatmeal soap which has become a favorite at the Market. If you love Honey try the Oatmeal & Honey soap or the Goat Milk & Honey soaps which should be great for Normal skin and a host of other skin types/conditions. The honey comes from Wolf Bay Farm and is a favorite in Emma's household.
